Hardware Buy, Swap And Sell

Recommended Posts

I figured we might make use of a thread where clannies may want to either sell or give away old hardware.

I've now got two Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780s (3GB) Windforce for sale. From what I can tell, they're going for about $220 on eBay - however, if a clanny could use one (or both) I'd be happy to go down to $150 or so. I'd be looking to put them on eBay in the next couple of days though if no one gets in beforehand.

On a side note, I've also started to gather a few 2TB HDDs that I don't really need. Not sure what they go for these days, but I'm happy to take inquiries if someone's interested.

Ha! My mice and keyboards are staying put for a rainy day.

If you want quick sales Shrives, you might want to look over at the forums on OCAU. I've been buying and selling stuff lately over there. Though people are generally after a bargain, so you definitely won't get what you might otherwise from a nupty on eBay or Gumtree.

And in terms of your HDDs, most people will ask for a screenshot of CrystalDiskInfo for each drive, and general don't tend to spend too much, especially for mechanical drives.

Yeah that makes sense with the HDDs - not that I'm fussed with those; if someone can use them, goodo. If not, I'll probably just leave them sit here.

I've got this currently posted on the Sales section of OCAU, thought I'd post here if anyone was interested.

I've got this monitor arm which I've used for several years, now available, after changing to a single large monitor.

I'm 99% sure it's an Integ Apollo4 Dual Monitor Arm. What's pictured, is what you get. I've used a metal draw handle from an old desk to help distribute the pressure when screwing up the main bolt. As pictured, one of the plastic handles has broken off the screw to tighten and loosen the arm off the main pole, this was due to over tightening. It does not effect the functioning, as you can still slip the plastic handle back on the screw to assist with tightening and loosening.

This has been a rock solid arm, and the construction and feel of it feels very premium.

Any questions, please ask, thanks.

Res $60 / No instant. Will close 48 hours after res is made.

Would do $70 posted if a clan member wants it. (Above res doesn't include postage. Postage will be $17 Australia wide.)

Anyone interest in playing with some X58 gear? I've got the following I no longer need/want;

CPU: Intel Core i7-960 3.2GHz
MOBO: ASUS SABERTOOTH X58
RAM: G.SKILL F3-12800CL9T-6GBNQ 12GB (6x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz

Had a play with it, but realised I don't need another X58 build. Cleaned, fresh MX-4 thermal paste on the CPU and north and south bridge chips, and fresh thermal pads on the VRM heatsinks.

Righto, so I'm going to sell most of my Logitech prizes. I figure I'll try to get top dollar on eBay. However, if a clanny wants something below then I'm happy to discuss and not charge postage. I figure I'd get this up before PAX in case someone wants me some hardware along. But when I get back on Sunday I'll aim to put it all online.

Logitech G Pro Gaming Headset $130 https://www.logitechg.com/en-au/products/gaming-audio/pro-gaming-headset.html#product-tech-specs

Logitech G Pro Wireless Mouse $230 https://www.logitechg.com/en-au/products/gaming-mice/pro-wireless-mouse.html#product-tech-specs (SOLD)

Logitech G512 Carbon (GX Blue Mechanical Switches) $150 https://www.logitechg.com/en-au/products/gaming-keyboards/g512-mechanical-gaming-keyboard.html (SOLD)

The mouse is quite light and I really liked it. However, it surprised me that there was no wheel tilt, as that is how I change weapons in most games. Mind you, it charged very quickly with the PowerPlay Wireless Charging pad - it was on 20% when I started a quick game of PUBG and it was on 80% by the time I finished. Which is why I intend to keep the PowerPlay mat and buy a G903.

I mentioned elsewhere, but I really liked the headset too. Enclosed designed seemed to sound really solid. I didn't try out the mic though.

They keyboard is still in the plastic so I can't comment on how good it feels. But I wasn't getting rid of my G910 so didn't feel the need to open it.

I'm interested in the Keyboard, will need one when I change back to desktop

No worries. I won't do anything with it until you've made a call. Unless you want it at PAX.

It's a completely different shape then the G Pro wired.

I'd been keen on the G Pro Wireless, but even for me, that's a bit too much. Would be nice if they bought out a wired version in that same shape, but I don't see that happening.

Or just use it with the charge cable if you really want to... derp.

That headset does look nice, but think I will have a look at PAX first. Try a few different headsets and see what feels and sounds nice.

And as nice as the logi keyboard/mouse look, I like my Corsair mouse and Keyboard, so not swapping away from them.

I do need to buy a wireless charger for my mouse though... but it uses a different wireless technology to Logitechs :(, but it is the same as most phones (QI)

Oh nice! Can you just sit the phone on the pad to charge it?

Try some on at PAX and if you see this one and like it I could deliver to Bendigo in a couple of weeks. Again, no rush.

Emp, if you'd like it let me know and I can bring it along to PAX too.
