Cyberpunk 2077

Recommended Posts

I didn't mind paying full price on GOG (all goes to the devs).

Here is the release times,

Done the pre-load, now just need to wait for 10AM tomorrow (or after the 'Day One' patch is downloaded upon release)...

Sooo... this will be released in a few days. Unless they delay it again

If you don't mind a few VPN hop step and jumps you can pick this up from the Russian GOG store for about $38.50

[PC] Cyberpunk 2077 ₽1999 (~ A$36.47) @ GOG (VPN Required) - OzBargain

Thanks for posting, always nice to get a good deal.

I had to take a quick trip to Ukraine because PIA doesn't have Russia. Its pretty nice this time of year

word on the street is if you go slide you nuts down a park bench in chernobyl you'll never knock up a babushkya, worth a trip for sure!

also how do russians pay 2000 roubles while we pay triple that rofl, might buy it in a sale unless it lives up to the hype and I get sucked into buying it and never finishing it becuase its 1000 hours long, let us know how it goes.

I'd say if you can, wait.

Game is buggy AF. Went like 8 hours without anything too bad, just t-poses and clipping and shit. Right up until it hard crashed my PC. I guess it was the game telling me to stop playing for the day.

I've been playing cdpr games since the first Witcher game so I didn't have the self restraint to wait (plus I needed something. To test the 3080 on). Game is super pretty, and ray tracing is another level in this game. Although even with a ryzen 3950 and a GTX 3080 maxed out settings (dlss on) I'm still only getting between 55-75 fps so it's a hungry boy (frame rate it much better with ray tracing off)

Night city is something else though.

I've never played a game that has a city as good as this. I am continuously stopping and just looking at what's going on.

First game that uses "blocking" in there "cutscenes". E.g Someone talking to you in an office won't just sit there stuck Skyrim/fallout lock. They get up, look out the window, poor themselves a drink and then come back.

Very immersive and Iove the way they are telling the story.

I'm hooked and am ready to give my Christmas holidays to it but if you can wait, wait.

sounds good, I'm a big fan of immersion, guessing you are on 4k to get those frames with that rig?

Nah I'm 1440p. Max settings on 4k sees about 30fps. I prefer frames over resolution

ive played about 40 hours now and im really enjoying the game, havent had any issues with it at all

Are you playing on PC or console?

Also I can't wait for the ACCC ruling and court case that goes after CDPR, it's bullshit that big developera think they can get away with sending out broken content to consumers and then "patch" it down the track

It honestly sounds like one of those games where they tested it on 1 set of hardware and went "Awesome it works" and left it at that.

What system are you running Ninja?

I have heard that ray tracing makes it look fantastic, but also destroys frame rates

well I might have to wait until I can get my hands on a 3080 or something then, my 5700xt is gonna struggle at 1440p.

Yeah, I'm on the 5700xt and its definitely not able to handle 4k. I'm on medium/high settings at 1440p and happy with the frame rate though!
