yeah, I've been playing Evolve for a few nights now. I think it has great potential. It'a a really good looking game with great balance. Takes coordination and skills to take down a Monster, and when that happens it's very gratifying. Surprisingly stealth as a monster is essential, which is really nail biting at times.

BP Simo and myself had a game last night just the single day scenario and got raped by the 'Kraken' class. So much teleporting around it was hard to keep track of where it was

Well... I think all of the monsters raped us.

 

Was good fun. I need to spend some time in Solo to get used to each classes perks.

 

 

Yeah, I understand the mechanics much more now. You have to know the monster's strengths and weaknesses.

So has anyone read up with the pricing debarkle? I haven't played it apart form a very short lived stint at PAX (thanks pench, ya asshole) but the pricing seems very steep. I know the head of the studio has come out in defense saying that their intention is not to raught players, but i doubt Hitlers intention was to be immortalized as one of the worst men alive (over exaggeration, you be the judge).

Partly. Hunting pass (or deluxe version) which is extra $35 only covers 4 new extra hunters, if you want two new monsters you've gotta get monster race edition which is $130 USD. There doesn't appear to be any other way to get extra monsters assuming you want them..

Also, one would of assumed Hunting season pass meant you got new content when it was released like EVERY OTHER GAME but nope.

I've been playing it each night, as it's a little adictive, but fun as all buggy, even with pub groups (some good some bad).

Has anyone downloaded new patch yet? 7GB and apparently 6GB of that is more tutorial videos.. games already 26GB and half off that is from videos, do these retards compress videos at all or what.

They are rebuilding whole game from scratch lol, gone from 40GB to 19GB~ thankgod, it originally had like 20GB of stupid videos and language files..
