As good, or if not even better than anything I've ever previously watched.

 

Almost gave it a miss due to the lead characters being Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson.

 

They absolutely nail it. McConaughey especially.

McConaughey has completely re-invented himself. He purposely told his agent to f off as he was sick do doing rom-coms and has just been acting the shit out of roles.

Great tv show i really enjoy it.

 

It is about a consulting firm with a team of 4. It is really funny i would recommend 100%

Started watching Revolution, first 4 eps of season 1 - is remarkably similar to Firefly imo, not sure I will see it out as while there have been a few good moments I don't find it as engaging as some other shows I have watched

It is not utterly without merit. It has some intrigue to it and is an interesting world and premise. But it is not well written and the pacing is awful. It jumped the shark in the first season regarding the intrigue and the acting seems to eb getting worse.

 

It is in my "not bad" pile, but as i have said before, i have no time for "not bad" any-more.

Yeah fair enough. I'm starting to wonder if I have time for that pile any more either, with games or TV shows . I'll consider it after True Detectives, which I'll watch after Sopranos.

 

Also, people who enjoy a good docco might like Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey - the first three episodes are out and well worth a watch.

I'd put true detective first as it is only 8 episodes and the conversation is around right now. Sopranos will take a long time to slug through (especially for you plebs who watch things in 1x speed).
