Duckz 474 Report post Posted February 15, 2016 (edited) It certainly returned with an explosive bang, and something you could definitely dig your teeth into. Watching some of the characters though is like a hole in the head. It makes me want to go on an absolute rampage. Edited February 15, 2016 by Duckz Go to top Share this post Link to post

MasterShrive 2,018 Report post Posted February 16, 2016 Oh no That was on my list (probably). Is Season 2 still going? Does it end in a satisfactory manner? Did they get the bomb completed?! So many questions. Go to top Share this post Link to post

MasterShrive 2,018 Report post Posted February 16, 2016 Alright. I'll keep it on said list then. In fact, now that I know there won't be more episodes it's probably bumped itself further up the rankings. Go to top Share this post Link to post
Phobos 1,212 Report post Posted February 17, 2016 (edited) Can't remember if I posted it, The Expanse finished for the season. Another really good scifi under the radar. About to finish War and Peace. I must say old boy, one of the best mini series in years. If you have any interest in the novel, the time period, monarchy system, Napoleon's invasion or the Russian Empire. You'll love this - If the trailer I linked earlier, peaks your interest, do eeet. Playlist of some of the music used: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py3aWdl7A88&index=5&list=RDYwtZOu_5Ehk (Shrivey, make this #1 on your list - I know you'll probably enjoy it heaps) Edited February 17, 2016 by Phobos Go to top Share this post Link to post
MasterShrive 2,018 Report post Posted February 17, 2016 I'm going to watch it as soon as I finish The Last Ship (almost done). Sounds like a good find. I might give The Expanse a look too - sounds right up my alley. Go to top Share this post Link to post

Phobos 1,212 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 I've been meaning to watch it! I watched a bit of the X Company, PK. Mmm, i'll have to give it another try. The way it's filmed/set out felt jarring to me Go to top Share this post Link to post
PistolKnight 554 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 Yer fe, it is not the most brilliant series, I did persist. I thought at the start it was a little bit back to the 80's or 90's how the premise for the week is resolved/solved in the week but latter on stories start to cross paths and flows a bit more week to week 1 Go to top Share this post Link to post
Blueberry 444 Report post Posted February 25, 2016 Fargo is amazing.season 2 of true detective is a season of trash with a few good scenes (dat shootout scene was intense) in my opinion of course. Go to top Share this post Link to post

Blueberry 444 Report post Posted May 8, 2016 Night manager is not bad, has a few issues but better than most things TV crap that people enjoy. Spy thriller vibe btw 1 Go to top Share this post Link to post

Duckz 474 Report post Posted June 10, 2016 Stranger Things - July 15 on Netflix Set in Hawkins Indiana in the 1980’s, Stranger Things chronicles the search for a young boy who vanishes into thin air under highly suspicious circumstances. His mother (Winona Ryder) opens an investigation into the boy’s disappearance with local authorities that unravels a series of mysteries involving top-secret government experiments, terrifying supernatural forces and one very strange little girl. A love letter to the ubiquitous cult classics of the 80’s, Stranger Things is also a coming of age story for the boy’s three closest friends that draws them into a world where mysteries lurk beneath the surface. PistolKnight 554 Report post Posted July 17, 2016 Finished S02 of Fargo, great follow up season and different to season one thought it was a nice touch to link season one and two together in the last ep it never dawned on me they were the same family till I saw that part, although I thought the shootout could have been more intense / suspenseful and was over a bit quick Go to top Share this post Link to post
