bprc 1,441 Report post Posted February 13, 2016 Yeah, MA15+ here. There were a lot of young teenagers. Too many. The family sat right in front of us. The boy was really uncomfortable about 30min in to the movie... 2 Go to top Share this post Link to post

Unlikely-Emp 153 Report post Posted February 13, 2016 This is why I go in the last week of the movies. Quiet and in Mt isa its $8 usually on the last week. Also weird times. The first show of the day, weekdays, taking half a day off etc. I cannot stand other people in the movies. People suck. I also have a pretty nice TV(it's really a monitor)/speaker setup, so I am quite happy to Pirate them. Go to top Share this post Link to post
TheLaw 859 Report post Posted February 13, 2016 Seen it tonight, the cinema were doing ID checks at the doors, few people were turned back and offered refunds. Other than that really reallllllly enjoyed this film. Also flew up to QLD to surprise my girlfriend and she was even more keen to see it than I think i was. Go to top Share this post Link to post

fencer 175 Report post Posted February 21, 2016 Saw Deadpool Saw Deadpool tonight with the wifey. I thought it was great. Some very funny lines.Definitely recommend!Leave the kids at home though... unlike the mother that brought her 9 year old son and 13 year old daughter! Watched it with my 13 son and he thought it was great and he had his biggest laugh when Deadpool made the crack about his small hand and how big it will make him feel. I do get the theatre experience getting ordinary now days though. Worst part of the packed movie theater was the stupid twenty+ year old guy that had to show everyone how hip he was to the humor by laughing harder and longer than anyone at very Deadpool one liner. After 15 mins I think he realised how long a movie goes for and what a twat he was and toned it down. Some kids shouldn't see it but if yours are actually more mature than some of older dildos out there walking around the world, take them to see it, as it's way cooler than the last Marvel movie I saw. If I was making Antman 2, I'd be nervous.. Go to top Share this post Link to post

MasterShrive 2,012 Report post Posted February 21, 2016 We took three car-loads of people from Nhill to see Deadpool last Wednesday. Really, really, really enjoyed it. Certainly glad I went with a group - one of the best movies I've seen I'd say. 1 Go to top Share this post Link to post
MasterShrive 2,012 Report post Posted February 24, 2016 Blue, was it you who told me to watch Boyhood? Anyway, I watched that the other night and found it quite interesting. They filmed it over 12 years, using the same actors for the entire journey. The story is fictional, but it's a very interesting premise. Something others might enjoy. Blueberry 444 Report post Posted February 25, 2016 I may have, i do not' recall. I heard a great "spin" they should make a boyhood a zombie addition but have it be a heavy drama. Idk , but that sounds cool to me. 1 Go to top Share this post Link to post
bprc 1,441 Report post Posted March 23, 2016 Anyone seen 10 Cloverfield Lane? I saw it tonight and I'd love to hear what others though. I really enjoyed the first 90%. The ending was terrible. The movie would be so much better with *any* other ending. Go to top Share this post Link to post

The movie would be so much better with *any* other ending. For anyone interested in seeing it, the less you know going in the better. I thought it was really good. great performances but the standout was deff Goodman. I don't necessarily think the ending was bad, it think it was just jarring because it was so tonelally different. I think the whole point of the end scene though was to show that she has grown as a person. from someone who runs away form hr problem to someone who chooses to face them. Penchamus 411 Report post Posted March 23, 2016 Georgia and I saw it lastnight and we really liked it. I really liked the thriller aspect to it but thought the ending was just tossed in to make it fit within the Cloverfield universe 1 Go to top Share this post Link to post

Unlikely-Emp 153 Report post Posted March 25, 2016 (edited) Haha. I think there will be disappointment coming from alot of people. Everyone still associates Batman with the Dark knight and to change actors and the story so soon is a hard task. Do you think it was bad in the sense that you were expecting something different or bad in the sense that it was snakes on a plane (which is the only movie I have ever walked out of. Literally half an hour in or something I just went nope and walked out) I may have to wait for its final week here. $8 movies aren't to bad as long as they don't totally suck. Blueberry 444 Report post Posted March 25, 2016 (edited) I only watched the first release trailer once (going as far to leave the cinema when the trailers came on for other movies) and then told myself i want to go into this movie as fresh as possible.Affleck, Irons,Cavil and Gadot are all good in their roles. Some good action (although not much for a 2 and a halfa) and some beautiful cinematography in some scenes. But the editor should be shot, they just throws scenes at you without context or establishment, some of the dialogue is laughable and apart form batman everyone has their agenda just cause e.g they never explain why Lex Luther hates superman, he just does . The story has plot holes all over the place. It just a haphazardly put together studio checklist. Also minor not plot related spoiler batman strait up kills a bunch of people. It didn't bother me even as a batman fan (i always thought he'd be way cooler if he just killed some mother fuckers), but this is sacrilege for some Edited March 25, 2016 by Blueberry Go to top Share this post Link to post
