We watched Palm Springs the other night, which is a fun little film.

Got a Groundhog Day sort of thing going on:

If you're interested in some good Adam Sandler acting:

Uncut Gems. Under the radar movie. Felt like 2 hours of anxiety attacks.

This one's a bit darker yeah? I liked Click the best out of all his films because there were some pretty dark and sad moments as opposed to his kind of over the top comedy style.

Bit darker, yeah. It's not a comedy but it's listed as a Crime/Comedy - I never laughed during it... Probably from all the anxiety induced from all the yelling in the movie, haha.

NOT A COMEDY.

Movie is made by Safdie brothers, who also mad e amovie called "good time" both are similar but both make you think "why the fuck do you keeo doing that" to the main characters

Watched The Northman. Another great Robert Eggers movie. If you're after some more norse mythology, this one is a great little story.

So are saying Nicole Kidman doesn't ruin it?

Glad you enjoyed it, I found it mid tierish yet I loved his first two movies?

Haha, I didn't know Nicole Kidman was in it, Jebus! Her character is one sick puppy, though..

Interesting. Is it because it wasn't main stream Norse mythology like we've recently seen through the Vikings show?

I also finished The Lighthouse last night too. Didn't find it too interesting since it felt shallow to me. I liked the aspect ratio and black and white but what was the story to tell? Felt flat and more just artsy fartsy. The Witch was better, good twist and themes. I had enough of their stupid hats by the end, though. They're all solid films though. Very unique, I like trying something different.

I'd rank them, The Northman > The Witch > The Lighthouse.

That. I went into it expecting to be like Vikings/The Last Kingdom. I think if i give it another watch later down the track i might enjoy it a bit better.

Prey - Predator sequel movie dropped this week on streaming platforms.

Very good, stays close to the original Predator 1 & 2 formula. Lots of your expected gadgets with satisfying usage. Interesting newish pred design, a real baller.

Very surprised with this one compared to the other two sequels we've had which weren't great. Easily rate this third favourite behind 1 & 2. Hopefully they go with Assassins Creed route of dropping the predator into different time periods. Samurai vs predator, anyone?
