we are in a me3 thread and people are complaining about spoilers for the last game?

heres a heads up if you dont want spoilers for me1 or 2 dont read about me3. its almost imposible to discuss me3 without assuming some common knowledge or paths you took. thats what makes the game so good.

given there are only 2 endings to me2 and you must choose 1 its hardly spoiler material. you are told this mission 10mins into me2.

 

its not like i mentioned shep died and you cant import saves in me3 if you destroyed the collector base at the end which is what i class as a spoiler i was vague for a reason

rally could you edit your post so that the fist paragraph is not in spoiler tags, and the second is.

 

by your own volition, the second paragraph contains legitimate spoilers. whereas the fist does not.

Having bot of them in the same tag kind of defeats the point.

 

I opened the spoiler tag expecting some abrasive comments, which i found. However it also meant without meaning to i had opened the tag to your legitimate spoilers, which as it happens contained things that i didn't know. having never achieved that worst case scenario, or that best case one either.

I wasn't aware that shepard could die as part of the story. only the many deaths that force you to restart from checkpoint. It's a pretty big thing to drop, especially considering i'm currently playing through ME2 again which i haven't done in years. There is a chance i could have killed him and still had the huge holy crap moment

I haven't had a chance to use the spoiler tags yet (if you don't include Nev's mouse wheel saving edits). But I'd like to ask a question based along the above comment. Also worth remembering I have never played the games and probably won't for a year or so at least yet, though I would like to in the future. By then I'll likely have forgotten things though.

 

 

So, Shep is the main man, correct? And he can apparently die in ME2. So I assume he is not the main character in ME3? Or is ME3 just the funeral with a grieving wife if you killed him in the previous game, and that's all there is to it? Lol.

That's is why I am so interested shrives, because he is the main character I am interested to see what they do.

 

RE Mig, strait up srsly? you have finished the game 2 times and we are not allowed to talk about any of the multitude of things that could happen at the end because you haven't experienced them? in that case

 

you are able to use guns in this game

 

 

you can customise Shepard to make him look the way you want, not just the bald guy

not sure if i like...for a 2012 game, could have made it look less...consoley

 

once again, the character creating screen is insane and unless you tweak a preset, will always make your character look like a mutant.

 

of the little combat ive sampled i like it better than me2. few more "movement abilities" and feels a lot more fluid.

 

cut scenes give me a headache. bad fov + ADHD camera man + substandard visuals makes it look like they are trying too hard to impress.

Been playing a few hours of it tonight. I agree with what Vulc said about the cutscenes, and at first they did annoy me. But now I'm used to it and already invested in the story, I don't notice it anymore.

The graphics certainly aren't great, but with the story, I don't care. It could be 8-bit, and it still wouldn't matter.
